Bringing strength, ergonomic considerations, customization and style to the rugby wheelchair.

Whilst communicating and interacting with the Plymouth Wheelchair Rugby team, The West Country Hawks, I further developed the concept chair called the Rucka. Players, Coach and the teams technical manager informed me of regularly occurring  issues they had been having with their chairs, as well as additional features they would have liked to have. I took their insights and feedback on the chairs that were made available to them through the team, and approached a conceptual chair design that tackled the issues and ideas given. Having exchanged e-mails with the head of design at RGK wheelchairs, feedback on my proposal from them, and the team was of great result.
